The Wildlife Institute of India (WII) is a premier autonomous Institute under the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, in the field of teaching, training and research. WII wishes to engage 02 research personnel (Indian national only) and Research will be based on the topic- Ecology of tigers with special reference to ranging patterns, dispersal and human-tiger conflicts in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, Madhya Pradesh.

Registration of the applicants will be done from 09:00 to 10:00hrs
The selection of the candidate(s) will be based on the Qualifying Test and Interview to be held from 20th to 22nd June 2016 at the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun.
Shall not be more than 30 years and The upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years for the candidate(s) belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women and Physically Challenged category
Masters’ Degree in Wildlife Science/Ecology/Forestry/Zoology/Botany/Life Sciences from a recognized University.
M. Tech/M.Phil in any discipline relevant to Biological Science/Life Science/ Ecological Sciences
Desirable Qualification: Research experience in field of wildlife ecology, data collection, proficiency in ecological data analysis, proficiency in writing reports and willingness to work in difficult field situations
