Prime Minister Modi Wins TIME Poll
Honourable Prime Minister of India – Narendra Modi has won reader’s poll for ‘TIME Person of the Year’ title. He has received more votes than even Barack Obama and Donald Trump. This comes as good news to millions of Indians all across the globe.
The Readers TIME Poll results, analysed by Apester, found that preferences differed across the world and United States of America. PM Modi performed particularly well among Indian voters as well as those in the US states of California and New Jersey.
This poll is indicative of PM Modi’s popularity among the masses. As Indians we should all be proud of him both as an individual as well as the Prime Minister of India.
Every year, TIME selects the most impactful person of the year, noting, for better or for worse, the person or group of people who have had the largest global impact over the past 12 months. In partnership with Opentopic and IBM’s Watson this year, TIME editors were also able to see how candidates were influential on the Internet.

The final results for TIME poll by readers will be announced on December 7th, 2016. As of now (i.e Dec 5, 2016) PM Modi is in the lead and has trailed quite a significant number of world leaders.
