Bank of Maharashtra Probationary Officer (PO) Exam was held today i.e October 28th, 2016. Thousands of aspirants appeared for it.
The exam consisted of 4 sections – Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English and General Awareness. The duration of the exam was 2 hours and the maximum marks were 200.

- Surprises – The paper was predictable so no surprises as such except for English Section which was tricky (though simple).

Section Wise Analysis
- Level: Moderate
The reasoning section was moderate this time and any well prepared aspirant would have easily attempted more questions with high accuracy.
The Quantitative Aptitude Section was complex and only a student with a good grip over the mathematical concepts will crack this section. Also, shortcuts played an important role in this section , saving precious time of the students.
English was a little tricky. Simple but tricky. A good grip over the English language is expected here.
General Awareness (with a special reference to banking awareness) was quite simple. In fact it was the most scoring section. Questions were mostly from popular news items related to the banking sector and many were were fact based. Static GK was a major chunk here. Students should score high in this section to be able to compensate for the overall marks.
